June 19th Pool day!

It was finally a non-rainy weekend and I wanted to take full advantage of it- so we went to the Lakeview Pool on Saturday! The boys loved it and I finally got some color! The next morning when Topher woke up he said that he really loved the pool and wanted to go again. That was the only way we were able to get him away in the first place! We had to promise him that we'd be going again.

my fit throwers!

Topher is being grumpy while at Grandma and Grandpa Benson's house over Memorial Day weekend. It was pretty busy- so there wasn't much time for naps...
This is Matthew throwing a fit by a pond, he wanted to be held...
I said no....
This is a picture that Topher took of grumpy Matty.

5-22-10 Sandbox

Mike made the boys a sandbox! I love that he's so handy!
Matthew enjoying the sandbox
Topher and Matt are a bit tired by this time- hence the weird face.
Playing in Topher's friend Seth's sandbox after our two families had a BBQ! :)

Springfield 4-10-10

We had to rub Lincoln's nose for good luck at the cemetary where he is buried.
At the Illinois State Museum they had Earth Day crafts for the kids to make. Here they are making watering cans out of old half-gallon jugs. They also planted flowers, Made a 3D Earth picture, and a pinwheel.
Lincoln's home in Springfield. We went through the house and got to see a lot of original furniture and carpet, and wallpaper.

The YMCA Easter Egg Hunt in Mattoon, IL Matthew and the Easter bunny
Topher found an egg with a prize voucher in it- It had some cool Spider Man easter eggs an Easter Train, and a Prayer Bear.
Waiting for our turn- we were the last group of the day-
and you can see that there weren't many people. They actually let the volunteers hunt for eggs in half of the gym which left the other half for my 2 boys and 2 other kids! As you can see we got sooooo much candy!

dying eggs with Aunt Michelle

Aunt Michelle's favorite part of Easter is dying eggs- so she helped Topher and Matt dye eggs.
I don't think Matt quite has the hang of it yet though :)

Topher loved dying eggs with his Aunt "Shell"

tophers 3rd b-day celebration

Grandma came the weekend after Topher's birthday and brought more presents.
What a lucky boy! And on a side note these cars are great! Matthew can use them as well as Topher- just shake them, put them on the race track and push the button to let them go.

They had so much fun with the bubble blower and some balloons! I had about 9 or 10 toddlers here and I was so afraid of what could happen- but everything went off without a hitch and everyone had a good time!

Topher's 3!

Topher got a bubble blower for his birthday- I think it's safe to say he likes it...
Topher also got a video game.
Ripping off the wrapping paper!
